Hallelujah

It's now Wednesday and I have some time to blog as an exercise in (or lack thereof) English skills. Begin.

Saturday:
The XXI Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremony. I didn't get to watch most of it due to a magnitude of reasons, but I have to say that the spirit bear and an eponymous song was probably one of the interesting sections (cause, you know, it's k.d. lang singing). Other than that, I got home at 0400 the next day/morning and woke up at 1000.

Sunday:
Happy Valentines Day! Happy Chinese New Year! Happy birthday Mr. DotA Pro! Other than that, there was not much happening for the day, besides Your Gen which is always funny.

Monday:
First day of school (in most countries). We got our first mini assignment for IST, but everything else is pretty much nondescript, except for PE. Round-the-world in table tennis with who knows how many people is quite interesting, although the mention of certain photoshopped pictures on AM's camera snapped my concentration. Several hours later, and GNW is back on! (as it has been for a while.) Possibly one of the funniest stand-up(?) comedies on television, although I find it extremely hard to hear what they're saying, and captions don't help. Time to sleep, I have to wake up at half past six tomorrow.

Tuesday:
I'm later than normal to Runfit due to a laggy start to the day, and there are an alarming number of juniors (yr 7-9) here, considering Tuesday is almost always harder. Anyways, Eugene decides to make us do cross-country, which is not a very nice prospect for the newlings. Anyways, I finished it in about 15 minutes, while we wait for other people (5min). After that, he announces that it's a warm up (!?) but enough about Runfit. (did I mention they dug up the sewerage and put it on the top oval on Monday!?) Nothing to note until English, which involved judging different arguments for movies, where Mark/Doodlebug won (because there was an excellent argument). Move to Green Group and I find myself surrounded by tartan colours, and basically just eating while listening to nothing. Did I mention that Clean Up Australia Day is on 7th (5th for us) of March? Come to Green Group to get details. 5 hours later: Top Gear is ridiculously funny! Time to sleep, I have to wake up early tomorrow (déjà vu, anyone?)

Wednesday:
Welcome to another fun filled morning of intense training(!) this time, we're just playing a geniunely extensive game of footshoe. What's footshoe? It's like touch, except you can throw in any direction, run in any direction, you don't have to move back 5m after you touch, and anyone can score a try (girls get 2pt). Anyways, everything else is boring, so let's skip to Sport: Walking ("With energy and Life!" -_-') A very interesting approach in reaching Stocklands which involves ¼ of the cross-country. Anyhow, they've managed to stretch a short walk and made it last to 1.30. And someone said something which I find absolutely confusing so I'm gonna stop blogging now.    Must self-teach guitar. Now dreading commerce with Filewood (George+JM, I'm looking at you)

NB: To the fifth follower, welcome to this blog whoever you are (I'm pretty sure).

Questions of highly variable importance:
Who's Happy Apple, icedtrees and anonymous? Has anyone seen a black 4gb Cruzer USB Flash Drive? Do we have English homework (dandelion?) Anyone know where I can get a physical PC version of the Orange Box for cheap?

  1. physical version of the orange box doesnt exist. you're going to have to either get it illegally or buy it from steam

  2. Noo you mean I have to buy it online?! Oh well I'm sure there's some kind of verbal loophole in Steam (in fact, many since it's pretty much gas)
