It's 7:11am now am it's actually not that cold. Tuesday is when I have to bring the most stuff to school though, and my netbook needs reimaging.
Argh runfit someone tackle Eugene Lee please

Turns out that there wasn't any runfit at all, woke up early just to wait several minutes in the cold. So instead I did several hilly loops in the surrounding area. Woot.
First day back at school was interesting, in that I discover we have a lot for the first three weeks:
Week 1: Chemistry Quiz, Statistics Topic Test, Subject Selections, English Essay (Cowgill)
Week 2: Geography Comp
Week 3: UNSW English, Wide Reading, Maths Common, Australian Maths Comp, CITY2SURF (Sunday)
Of priority right now is to completely fix up IST (and hopefully change the timestamp), find decent work experience (I'm sure the good spots are taken) and study for chemistry. Chemistry is getting more and more confusing, especially stoichiometry and gas laws, and the last quiz was somewhat :\ because of unclear linkage patterns.
V8 VANILLA CAKE! Contains 5 grams of titanium dioxide, which may or may not be a potential carcinogen. It looks incredibly delicious though, and I used to live very close to where Zumbo's patisserie (?) is. I guess sushi makes up for it though: filing is carrot, avocado/cucumber, with teriyaki chicken / chicken schnitzel :D Not to mention Japanese mayonnaise: just eating a few makes in feel like the oesophagus is clogged.
On politics: Masterchef (lol whut) is so popular that they've decided to move the traditional first round of debating to a somewhat earlier time of 6.30pm :O Idk whether we should be pro-Lib or pro-Labor. Anyone interested in a landslide victory for the Greens?
And yeah: when does 10G have to hand in netbooks for reimaging, anyone
Oh well. The good thing about all these tests is that they make time seem to go faster. Also, they're over quite quickly. Unfortunately, studying for them is a good idea, so that takes time.
ReplyDeleteFor the competitions, none of them count. Except science competition (we did already) and geography competition. AMC never counted towards maths and I'm pretty sure the writing/english wont be counted this year. Chem quiz also does not count, neither do the olympiads.
ReplyDeleteSo... relax. It'll make you perform better on Week 3 Sunday. (There's also work experience then olympiads following that. It's a busy-ish term)
ACA said the vanilla cake was 130$
