Le Tour de France

I've been watching Le Tour de France up until one and is was very exciting stuff :D 178km I think was the leg for the Stage 5, and there were some long angle (?) shots of massive sunflower and lavender fields. There also seems to be a lot of rules in cycling concerning drafting though, or at least should be: a lot of the cyclists near the back draft behind the repair vehicles for a bit before moving on to the next vehicle or cyclist. One of the more cheap things I've seen them do is a mock tune-up where the cyclist holds the rear-view mirror of a car and lets the mechanic 'adjust' their road bike, and this is just after they had their rear wheel replaced...

On that note: viva la EspaƱa! I might try and have a nap on Sunday night to watch the final at 4am in the morning :O (I also hear they're displaying it in 3D at some cinemas)

James Bond films involving Sean Connery are just plain excellent. Lightningball I think it was called was interesting mainly because of the underwater fight (everyone just seems to be using spearguns), and what is the thing in Bond's mouth which lets him breathe underwater for so long?

Using wikipedian self-diagnosis techniques (TM), I can more or less ascertain that I have a combination of plantar fasciitis and a shin splint. Add to this a previous right knee injury and a long-lasting case of Osgood-Schlatter and

Aw crap how am I gonna run 14km on ridiculously hard bitumen
