Congrats Guys

So 4 people want me to look like a hippie? That's fine with me, but I'm getting a haircut this week, so bad luck, or else my parents will say I'm a drug dealer specialising in LSD, etc.

This week (or last depending on when I post this) was a triumph(!) for a multitude of people. Year 11s finish their exams and party like there's no tomorrow, year 12s graduate and cry (happily) like there's no tomorrow. It's strange how I know less people in year 11 than in year 12. We're gonna miss you year 12 D:

O.K. In light of Australia's status as the most obese country in the world, I'm gonna start talking about the last session of Runfit (for the current leader). There's quite a lot of people, given the date was shifted to Thursday, and lo and behold when we reached Rox Park there was Chris Lew doing sprints and whatnot. (If you don't know who Chris Lew is, he's the guy who made the awesome speech at the prefect induction, and looks a bit like Anh Do). The grass is wet. Darn. My clothes, shoes and socks get wet, and I still need them for later. Darn.

It was actually a very fun session though, and even Chris joined, and showed off his ex-national prowess. It was basically just 'fun' stuff such as run-across, watching kids do pushups (?), then a semi-dangerous game in that garden next to the pool and park. Originally there was meant to be a party (several people bought variations of chocolate foodstuffs), but suddenly it was 8:30am and we still haven't stopped playing fugitive -_-

Fugitive - it's like cops and robbers - 1-3 cops, everyone else has to avoid getting tipped by the cops, or else they are out and stop playing.

It's 8.35 and we finally stop. Then we start taking photos. There are quite a few on FB if you bother to look. It's 8.38, so I decide to take 1 or 2 snacks from the 'party' and run back to school. Up a friggin' hill. I still made it, which is probably a feat in itself: the rest arrived late.

I'm also late for setting up sports selections though. Crap, I've been forced into the lameness that is ice skating (which virtually no-one in our grade seems to be doing, wth?)

Next post = Friday's exploits and then some (EDIT: meaning it won't just be stuff about Friday, which was by the way admittedly good)
