- Shoutout to Nara for suggesting (i.e. convincing me) that I should start blogging again. Based on my backlog of draft posts, I've been meaning to do that for a while, but I finally reached the activation energy! (woo chem)
- Billionaire is a pretty cool game: win several times as a newbie, except for that time when I had a full set and didn't shout 'Billionaire' because I'm smart
- The Baulko keychain is really nice, except that I don't have any keys per se that I can attach to it, so I've just left it in the touch on my bedside table. The Baulko pen just exudes shiny awesomeness, which stops me from using it, since it would get all inky and tarnished (hello again, paradoxical perfectionist self)
- Someone nominated me for Mr Strong, which I find amusing as I'm probably the weakest among the other nominees.
Vote for meHopefully you voted for me, if only because Mr Strong was my muck-up photo costume.
Woo, 6 exams down, just one more to go!
So today (as I write this post) was Physics. Funny thing is, I've had dreams involving physics for the last 3 days including this morning. In the first two, they were specifically about failing HSC Physics through a series of causally-unlinked events.
However, this morning the tone changed, and for some reason I was on the APhO/IPhO team (sup TJ) and life was generally good.
Then I woke up during a nice part and looking at my bedside watch, it glowed 06:30, so I only managed to get 4-5 hours of sleep :/ Instead of going back to sleep like a normal person, I decided to
record as much detail of the dream as possible, and I finally went back to bed at 07:00.
Self-deprivation of sleep (y)
The actual Phys exam was actually okay, despite having some fairly weird questions: I thought that only the Bio exam was meant to feel easy, but this one had the same feeling. Except for that last astro question:
"Analyse the above data to write a detailed description of this binary system." 6 marks. Not sure how to know your info dump is sufficient to acquire full marks. Also, that projectile motion question with the 'bird' being aimed at the 'base of a house': it was apparently (one of) the hardest projectile question in the last few years. Still easy for 3U math students (:
Anyways, 6/7 done (soo close!), just need to go over the entire chem syllabus and I should be fine for scraping a band 6 (I hope)

I'm going to try doing NaNoWriMo this year, my username is loadedpizza. I'm going to start writing them after Chem is over: assuming I can actually have schoolies organised, I have about 30 - 6 (HSC) - 4 (schoolies) - 2(co-op interview) - 2 (random) = 16 free days in which to nano my way to 50k words.
Sounds possible(!) Probably going to try and break my previous record (~10k) and go for 25k.
So far, I've gotten the idea that I should base my novel on themes/concepts in each chapter, and jump between differently-themed worlds/ideas, a bit like a sequence of dreams.
As a side note, today I looked through my sheets and found that I've been recording dreams for almost a month. Actually, assuming that I can read my own handwriting (which has degraded quite a lot this year), I can actually use my dreams as fodder for NaNoWriMo.

Now it's 0100 AEDT, so I can't say 'today' when I'm referring to Friday.
Themed posts/posts with a central focus seem to be much better things to write and more interesting to read, but most of my posts are just train-of-thought types.
Ah yes, how to folllow blogs:
In the follower widget (that thing which shows who follows this blog), there's this connect button. Click it and follow that prompts. Voila, you should now receive updates. (Another method is just going to the dashboard and choosing to 'add' a blog to follow by URL)
Btw, when do you guys see posts from this blog appear on that Blogger Feed? Some posts on my feed claim to have been posted a lot later than they were (e.g. I think notifications for Dandelion's blog lags by several hours for me).
I would talk about how there is a massive group of seriously proficient athletes who conglomerate at the park next to the WAVES pool near school every Monday and Wednesday (~40-50 now that it's the active season for competing). A future post.
PS: I looked at this on Friday morning, and subsequently forgot about it :/ Basically, the mission is to hug as many people as you can. Imagine if that was posted just before graduation.
PPS: This doesn't apply to you guys (unless you have found my blog via legendary sleuthing skills), but good luck VIC people for your VCE exams! (And enjoy your Melbourne Cup public holiday, which is incidentally I finish the HSC.)
