Approaching the Summit

Well, after a week or two of incredibly time-consuming work and procrastination, I have finally been able to write a blog post. Yay for free blog posts.

As many of you probably know, we've had somewhere along the lines of 2 tests and 3 assignments in this week alone with at least 2 assignments and 3 tests to go for this term. The history test, which needed surprisingly little knowledge, was completely stuffed up due to misreading internal affairs, while the maths test was... given to us with infinitesimally small amounts of time. Commerce is easy though, and our Log Books should be due tomorrow (which I haven't filled in yet).

Fieldwork excursion to Kosciusko a.k.a camp. This is going to be really weird, not only because we have a strange bus list (17:30 ratio???), but because there are 6 people in a room. My cabin contains the one and only JM! (as well as me, of course). And that's problematic, especially when people can't be stuffed to play any card games besides 3/4 player big two. May I recommend learning longer lasting games, such as Dou Di Zhu, played with 54 cards and 3 players, or, if you're really asian/smart, Tractor? (tractor aka Tuo La Ji requires 6 decks w/ Jokers for everyone to play, so good luck)

At the very end of the term, however, we have the long-awaited (by some) cross-country. Although many of you are not competitive in this event (some of you don't even do it), it is in fact very easy to place within the top 30, even if you walk part of it. Heck, I even came 22nd last year doing just that. Post how your cross-country experiences (i.e. place, did you finish/compete, etc) from last year below, if you wish.

On that note, will that Osborn guy quit pestering me in relation to this term's events?
