Despite all the crazy hype and stuff about today's tests, I found them to be quite easy. One, the Geo test only involved ONE issue, compared to last year's apparent two, and the Science test was simple in a anti-Senior-Chem- Quiz kind of way. I'm not going to say anything else about these tests because of Dr 'Soapportal' but I managed to not do one question, because it was worded really weirdly. s=ut+1/2*a*t^2 etc we didn't have to remember cause they gave it to us T_T
As past experience would tell, a double reading and analysing
Currently, I'm just slightly worried about my well-being, because someone is being very aggressive towards me. And wrathful. Almost like he is vengeful. Not sure how I'm gonna save this guy from that.
On that note, can someone please switch/take me into their IST film group? I don't think I can survive any longer in mine, and now's a good time for switching. Right?
Oh crap, there's a mysterious cut on my pinky, and there's a suspicious bruise on my left leg which I swear was caused by someone kicking it. In anger. Now I'm just hoping I don't get crippled ._.
Weather? Rain? That's not a lot, just as long as it doesn't rain this April Fools, it's all good.
Guitar. Yep, I finally picked one up and started attempts at playing. My left fingers are all weirdly compact now, and twelve bar blues is not making sense because of the wrong fingering, or the wrong tuning. LOOKING FOR AN "EXCELLENT" TEACHER, PLEASE CALL.
Tired. Sleep. Damn Runfit, it was easy, although I had to do the x-c... again. Goodnight, for now.
fast players? meh. canon rock? meh.
ReplyDeletebeing fast and being showy is not all that there is to playing guitar.
not to say that i am discrediting these players, but it is an easy path to learn things on guitar simply for the purposes of impressing people.
i like to think that is not a good approach. one should play pieces that they enjoy, and whether others enjoy it or not depends on whether the person playing is any good at expressing their passion for that style.
dragonforce, for what very little that i have ever listened to, is said to be not a good bad, the lyrics are gimicky, and while their guitarist might be technically skilled, examining their playing reveals that it may just be that they are playing a string of related notes very, very, very, very, very quickly. speed is good but is not all there is.
Approach? Learning to play guitar to better understand music in general, and perhaps be able to play it back in ways other than humming.

buy a guitar and learn yourself. i say it is the best way. and if you are to buy a guitar you are best to get a steel stringed accoustic.
