Did anyone (or their parents) vote below the line? We never bother to because there are way too many randoms/insignificants listed as various party MPs.
Who will win: Gillard, Abbott or Brown? (Soctopus says Labor)
My parents are all Labor, because we want the National Broadband Network to continue as planned... which is really what we need, because we're currently on Mobile Broadband (which admittedly sucks and has a high per GB cost), partially because we don't have access to either ADSL2 or 2+: blame friggin Sol Trujillo's (see if you can pronounce that name) Telstra system used a overly-cheap telephone cable installation method called pair-gain, which basically means sharing the copper wire for several lines :(
ATTN: Each NQE will take place right after roll call (probably for all of them, I'm not sure), and will go into about period 4 or even 5, skipping recess and assembly all together :\ This means I miss out on IST for Physics (and most of math), then all of Commerce with Broccoli Eater and most of IST (again) for Biology, and finally ('Geography') + ('first History period of the day') + ('most of Science double') for Chemistry =_='
I gotta study for all 3 of them really badly. Heck, my sibling has almost finished reading the Preliminary course textbook for Biology (and supposedly understands it) o.O

Woah, it's like 72-70 for Labor vs. Coalition and they need 76 :O The chances of a hung government just got higher.
Because of recent commerce-y stuff, I will make a 'want' list or 'wishlist' for "tangible" goods/services (this is assuming large budgets):
- A really good phone (say, look at that survey up top for examples, then vote)
- A really hax full carbon fibre road bike (+clipless pedals and all those things)
- International Student Identity Card (I read about it and it's quite good/useful)
- A nice, decent, durable car for later (I would have said Toyota but times have changed)
- Good internet (hint hint Labor), because of aforementioned pair-gain
- COD:BO, TF2, Portal 2, MW2, COD4, because I don't have a single FPS yet...
- A tutor(s) for maths, science, and english (yes, I want band 5/6)
- ...wow this is a really short and admittedly cheap list
- see Inception at the cinemas
- see Toy Story 3 (tangible, as it a one-use 'good')
- maybe the Mind & Morality course, just to make Summer Holidays interesting
- RICE tickets for 2011?
- a V8 cake just because (apparently it costs $125, extra if you want the flower) :)
- nice components for building a durable all-purpose (i.e. gaming/video editing) computer
- a Bachelors --> Masters --> PhD (and maybe a Diploma at some point)
- ATAR 99.95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
