This has been a week of mild numerical extremes. SOO MANY MARKS BACK!
Ok, time for a breakdown of marks, stuff etc:
Maths yearly: 77/84 Maths report mark: 85% (expected 80%)
Science report mark: 88% (fml rank 20, according to a rank/percentile sheet which I "borrowed")
Geo test: ~77% (expected 80% or better)
PDHPE yearly: (53+7)/60 (expect 80% approx)
English: (8+10)/(15+15) (expect 21/30) Class mark: 10/15 (sort of saw that coming) T_T"
^Proves I do well at what I devote effort to (of my own free will as opposed to being forced). But I heard that commerce essay was marked like a year 11 work D: I lost several marks to MC and short already (I think), so I'm screwed for commerce (comparatively)
NQEs: Distinction for Biology (NOOO JM!!!!), Credit for Physics and Chemistry (honestly, how does 'Bledin' get a Distinction for Physics when several year 11s walked out of the test due to sheer difficulty?)
Basically, unlike a lot of the other external tests/competitions, all we get is a certificate giving us a university-esque ranking, but doesn't give us a mark sheet, not even our question paper :O Everyone wants to see what they got wrong and don't want to wait 'til next year -_- This is a notice to anyone who did the NQEs to try and get a green merit for each then a bronze award from McAuliffe.
Also, congrats to TJ for making the top scorers (as opposed to the previous perfect score) for the second time (FUUU- it's in Canberra this time instead of Sydney and they give free flights + accommodation as I remember -_-")
