Science Aptitude Test of sorts. Somewhat harder than anticipated (I didn't have enough time to go through every question twice) ice cube question was quite tricky. They have that displacement question involving a weight and a bucket of water from last year again -_- and resistance formula was actually not that complex despite looks.
Studying during squash is FTW. It works very well (at least when you're writing notes), and I even managed to have a decent game of squash. In fact, my best game skill-wise for the whole term.
Core Study Prelim - The World Communicates. A little boring, but found some weird stuff we never learned about such as Snell's law and sinusoidal waves. Go figure. (Olympiad is only on the Prelim courses, right?)

Recently, comebacks have become just that much harder to make during arguments of any type. Becoming overly passive isn't good... also, back is starting to do weird things (i.e. concave forward). This might explain why running is starting to hurt a lot.
Anyone want to do TKD or Gym with me next term? Obviously, we need enough people so that sparring tank year 11s doesn't happen that often for tkd. Because squash is, ultimately, very boring although it's good for studying (but honestly, who pays $6 to walk to a noisy venue and study? Wait...).
And before anyone gets excited about the end of Term, there are supposedly eleven weeks in this term. I'm not kidding. At least that means more time to worry over Work Experience, right? :-|
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR CITY2SURF EARLY-BIRD PRICES KIDS! They also send post the equipment to you instead of you (runner) going to the city on the week of the race. o.O I.e. save $10, save transport costs!
Does anyone have the Wide Reading sheet, if so could they paraphrase [sic.] the question for Epics please?
Plus, where do I get sample letters for finding work experience?
It's a GAS GAS GAS --> Some Wilfred Owen Poem --> It's about a Jumping Jack... who, err... flashes.
I thought Olympiads were of University level. Or something like that. And, it shouldn't just be prelim. That would be too easy, wouldn't it? Because that means basically every year 11 would get in if they 'tried'.
