My gosh. Running hurts so much now that I can't even get my heart rate to 70% max (where max is usually 220 minus age). Turns out that my shoes don't actually fit or else I'm running completely out of whack with nature, as I can't pinpoint a cause yet. Anyhow, the next pair of shoes I'm getting better come from a specialty shop, I don't care if it costs >80AUD (well, a little), as long as they last more than 1 hour in a row >_<
Portal: 1689.5 MB / 3880.7 MB complete. I almost got a mini heart attack when Steam stopped responding a whole GB into the download. My download rate is/was at a peak of 733.9 KB/S (thank you Steam server) and at the time I paused the download, it said I had only half an hour left o.O
This is one heck of a boring weekend, which I attribute to the end of the 0.5 yearlies. :D Been staring at a screen all day, I think I should go do something more productive, like downloading Portal or reading the Aeneid, but obviously I'm not going to do that. Time to do... something.
What happens if you get >90% heart rate? Or higher?
ReplyDeleteThen you are technically going at maximal effort, at your VO2 max, and that's not normally what you aim for, unless your racing short sprints or the like.
