S'ven Squared

SRP and Commerce results are back!

Commerce was crap. I lost EIGHT marks to extended response and still got 47/60. I did superannuation I think it was, and only one and a half pages on it. I heard that JM got 58-59, mark pending, and that Filewood marked one as 65 once (huh?). As a side note, Filewood is actually quite fast, and he's told me the 400 and 800m are based on other performances for going to zone. Uh-oh, I self nominated...

SRP. 26/32. Not bad I guess given the effort I put into it (four pages?), a little over 80%, and I'm not sure about other classes.

ARGH !@#%, my leg hurts A LOT. Not that I'm complaining (too much). Actually, I could barely get out of bed, put socks on, shoes on, etc. Going downstairs was a unique challenge because there are people behind you moving. Who would have thought a few hurdles would cause this? Anyways, now I have some weird Woodlock/menthol ointment on my shin/knee, its got a nice burn in it, but not doing much. Current range of okay-ish motion is about 10° in my right leg. Is zone in 3 weeks? Yes, it is, if they tell me I'm going then I'll be like "hang on, what the".

Tim's house. Who's going?

  1. IM GOING NOT.

It's not pending. It's just 58 (because, I don't know where else I'd get another mark).

And. I'm happy I didn't do try hurdles. Good luck with your leg.

  2. Good work on the zone. :)

At least you have a reason for pain. I'm a bit sore from doing hardly anything. I could say it was swimming, but I highly doubt it.

  3. Whoops, misunderstanding about the 400 and 800m, those nominations are judged based on your athletics and x-country performances, then they send you to zone if you're good enough.

The team for 16s boys has not been finalised yet, stay tuned...
