LiveAID!

YES. EXCELLENT PERFORMANCES. 30 ACTS IN 3 HOURS I THINK IT WAS. (I'M NOT SHOUTING, I'M MERELY SOMEWHAT EXCITED AND WOAH CORNELIUS WAS THE BOMB!)

Before retelling certain good events with what memory I have left, I'll make a correction about yesterday's post:
400m and 800m are two events which the school does not do during the athletics carnival for various reasons, eg lazy people and time. The two events are done at zone though, so the school allows people to self-nominate, and send people based on their previous performances (i.e. the 100 and 200m sprints, cross country). In each age group and event, there are two sent to zone and two reserves. However, looks like there's too many people in my age group this time, which leads to:

A "runoff". From information I've gathered, it means all nominees will basically race each other quite soon. Which doesn't really suit me (the earliest I can start preparing is this Sunday, and only lightly). Some theorise that it could be next Wednesday. Basically, those competing are (I think): Cedric, Harjit, Eshiyu, George, maybe someone else, and me (why did I self-nominate!?). Eh. Good luck to me...(?) So no, I haven't made zone for athletics yet (and probably won't D: )

Time for that LiveAID recap. I don't have the program with me for some reason, so these may either be out of order, missing some things, etc. perhaps you should ask Mark:

So LiveAID was a pretty big thing. I mean, when all the gates are pretty much locked (at least in the TLC), you know they're serious about their fundraising o.O Anyways, You Never Give Me Your Money, performed by DL (piano), MS (lead?), HL(rhythm?), WL(bass), AM(drums), Jack (vocals), interesting, couldn't hear the paino after Jack started sing though =(

Another performance by the band Fred Zeppelin and the LEDs, (has a new member Gary?), played Jumping Jack Flash, which was nice, especially the ending.

To be continued...
